Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC. is seeking a Consumer Financial Services Career Associate with at least three years of litigation experience to join a premier AmLaw 100 firm’s practice. The role focuses on representing banks, lenders, loan servicers, and financial institutions in a broad range of consumer finance disputes across multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing
• 3+ years of substantive litigation experience
• Experience with commercial litigation and the representation of financial institutions is strongly preferred
• Background defending matters under the FCRA, FDCPA, and/or TCPA is highly advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases, lead projects, and supervise junior team members
• Strong writing ability, analytical skills, and professional judgment
• Excellent research, communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities
• Ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, nationally integrated practice

Responsibilities

• Independently handle a broad range of consumer financial services litigation, including commercial disputes and matters involving federal and state consumer protection laws
• Participate in hearings, depositions, motions practice, and other proceedings across state and federal courts
• Provide legal advice and regulatory guidance, communicate case strategy and developments, and support clients responding to government and agency investigations
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and related litigation documents
• Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on high-impact matters within a collaborative, nationally coordinated team
