Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a seasoned project manager to support delivery of software solutions, ensuring work stays on time, within scope, and on budget to enhance the digital experience for clients.

You will lead project planning, sprint and release cycles, analyze performance metrics, and communicate clearly with stakeholders to drive prioritization, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with technology project execution in a banking environment.
• Ability to navigate a large matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Contributes towards operational routines, the day-to-day health of digital capabilities, resolution of defects, routing of complaints, and performance metrics results
• Conducts project planning, sprint, and release planning and contributes to the execution of the program vision and roadmap
• Performs analysis to capture and report key performance indicators and return on investment of products
• Creates presentations and written materials and communicates in an effective and engaging manner to enhance project outcomes
• Builds and maintains relationships across stakeholders and partners in order to effectively navigate the bank, ensure successful delivery of assigned work, and secure ongoing support for owned features
• Leverages knowledge of the business to make informed decisions at every stage of the product development and sustainment lifecycle
• Foster strong partnerships and ongoing collaboration with cross-functional partners by leveraging regular operating rhythms and shared reporting to ensure alignment on priorities, progress, and outcomes
• Understand priorities, business impact and timeline requirements for assigned portfolio of work to be able to appropriately advise on prioritization against broader portfolio
• Drive risk mitigation by proactively monitoring and managing portfolio of work through intake, estimation and technology workflow steps
• Keep process improvement focus throughout, contributing to team efforts to make delivering work more efficient
