  • Serve as the internal owner of NetSuite, including reporting, workflows, chart-of-accounts management, data integrity, and system improvements.
  • Oversee and continuously improve automated finance processes, identifying opportunities to automate manual work so the team can focus on higher-value analysis and business partnering.
  • Partner with the other divisions and functions to ensure accounting results are understood and used to support their operating and strategic decisions, translating financial data into practical business insight.
  • Own trade spend and customer program accounting, including co-op advertising, allowances, rebates and promotional accruals and reserves.
  • Coordinate physical inventory counts, cycle counts and reconciliations with third-party logistics providers and co-manufacturers.
  • Manage sales and use tax, state registrations, 1099 reporting, business licenses and other regulatory filings in coordination with external advisors.
  • Support insurance renewals, workers’ compensation audits and other annual compliance activities.
  • Evaluate current accounting practices and build scalable processes, controls, documentation and reporting standards as company continues to grow.
