Navy Exchange Service Command is seeking a Sales Associate to be the face of the brand in Guam. You will assist customers, learn our products, and explain our purpose in a knowledgeable, educational, and professional manner.

A positive, outgoing attitude is essential to contribute to a welcoming shopping experience and the organization’s reputation. Responsibilities include helping customers, processing transactions, maintaining store presentation, and staying updated on promotions and trends.

Qualifications

• Customer service and product knowledge are essential.
• Retail experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customers, peers, and management.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
• Ability to multi-task, work in a team, and take initiative without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive customer service and engage with customers to build relationships.
• Ask questions to understand customer needs and guide product selections.
• Direct customers to merchandise and inform them about promotions and events.
• Maintain store appearance and stock; participate in inventory processes.
• Process transactions: cash handling, returns, gift cards, and POS duties.
• Support upselling and cross-selling based on customer needs and store promotions.
