Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command seeks a Sales Associate in the Consumables/HBA Department at North Island Main Store in San Diego. This FLEX position (0–19.5 hours) supports a fast-paced retail environment, focusing on helping customers, presenting products, and upholding the brand image.

No prior experience required; high school diploma preferred. Candidates should have strong communication, basic math skills, and the ability to learn the POS system and contribute to a positive shopping

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to read and interpret basic instructions.
• Basic math skills and ability to operate a POS system.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage and connect with customers and determine their needs.
• Cross-sell products and inform customers about promotions and events.
• Maintain store appearance and merchandise presentation.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system and handle cash securely.
• Be the keeper of inventory and ensure proper ticketing and stock checks.
