Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Five years successful teaching experience.
• Maryland educator certifications or eligibility as required by BCPS.
• Experience mentoring/coaching and professional development for adults.
• Knowledge of instructional coaching and data-informed instruction.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Awareness of the Adult Learning Theory.

Responsibilities

• Observe teaching performance and provide coaching to teachers on caseload.
• Collaborate with principals and school staff to support assigned teachers.
• Maintain evidence and prepare interim/final reports for the PAR panel.
• Work with teachers on their caseload to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Provide feedback aligned to BCPS Teacher Evaluation expectations.
• Support professional learning across the system.
