Job summary

Excelerate LLC seeks a Consulting Manager to lead multi-disciplinary client engagements from strategy to implementation, delivering measurable business impact. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 4+ years of management consulting or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong storytelling and executive-level presentation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI and Tableau a plus.
  • Strong PM and workstream leadership; Agile and Lean experience.
  • Ability to travel on-site up to three days per week in San Diego area.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex client engagements or workstreams from initiation through delivery, ensuring high-quality execution and measurable outcomes.
  • Translate complex or ambiguous business challenges into actionable, insight-driven strategies through data analysis, process mapping, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Lead operational improvement and transformation programs that align people, processes, and technology to achieve sustainable results.
  • Develop business cases, KPIs, and performance measurement frameworks to measure impact and sustain performance.
  • Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to co-create solutions with clients and build organizational alignment.
  • Oversee vendor evaluations, digital solution implementations, and systems integrator partnerships.
  • Design and deliver change management, training, and organizational development initiatives that drive sustainable adoption and capability building.
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships based on trust, transparency, and consistent value delivery.

As a Consulting Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in guiding clients through strategic initiatives that drive meaningful business transformation. You’ll lead multi-disciplinary projects from strategy through implementation - bringing structure, insight, and operational excellence to every engagement.

This role offers broad exposure across multiple service areas, including:

  • Process & Digital Acceleration
  • Designing and implementing systems and processes that enhance efficiency and enable scalable growth
  • Customer-Centric Growth & Organizational Enablement
  • Identifying and prioritizing customer and market opportunities (B2B and B2C) that generate financial impact, while enabling business strategies through human-centered design and organizational enablement.
  • Data Connectivity & Intelligence
  • Leveraging data to create competitive advantage through data architecture, integrations, business dashboards, and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions

You’ll serve as both a trusted advisor and a hands-on leader - translating strategy into action, building stakeholder alignment, and driving measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • 4+ years of management consulting or equivalent experience in leading strategic or transformation initiatives.
  • Proven success delivering measurable results in one or more of the following areas:

  • People, Culture & Organizational Change Enablement
  • Program Management Office (PMO) Design & Portfolio Management
  • Data Strategy & Intelligent Decision-Making

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to transform data and insights into clear, compelling PowerPoint presentations, tailoring narratives to diverse stakeholder audiences and effectively communicating recommendations with senior executives that drive informed decision-making and business impact.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required for data analysis, visualization, and executive-ready presentations; experience with Power BI and Tableau is a plus.
  • Strong project management and workstream leadership experience, including expertise in Agile and Lean methodologies and proficiency with tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in fast-paced, client-facing environments.
  • Flexibility to support client engagements on-site up to three days per week, typically within the San Diego region.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
