Job summary

Community Tax in Chicago, IL is seeking an Inside Sales Case Analyst to engage inbound leads, assess tax challenges, and guide clients through our two-phase process toward resolution. You’ll educate prospects, gather financial details, and enroll clients into Phase One, while collaborating with tax professionals to ensure a smooth handoff.

No cold calling is required, and the role offers a base salary with commissions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated competencies in inside sales or client relations, preferably in a financial services, or consultative closing roles.
• Strong ability to listen, empathize, and translate complex financial matters into clear solutions.
• Confidence in conducting detailed financial intake conversations.
• Excellent communication and persuasion skills, with a client-first mindset.
• Driven, self-motivated, and resilient in a competitive sales environment.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales processes.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Connect & Consult: Engage inbound leads and referrals (NO COLD CALLING), listening to their tax challenges with empathy and professionalism.
• Educate & Guide: Clearly explain our two-phase process and how our team can help resolve IRS and state tax issues.
• Qualify & Assess: Gather critical financial and personal details to determine program eligibility and next steps.
• Close with Confidence: Enroll clients into Phase One, setting realistic expectations and securing their commitment.
• Build Trust Early: Establish rapport so clients feel confident transitioning to our Resolution Team for Phase Two.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work hand-in-hand with tax professionals, case advocates, and leadership to ensure a smooth client handoff.
