Job summary

Sikorsky Credit Union in Stratford, CT is seeking a Loan Transaction Coordinator to originate, process, and fund consumer loans via digital or indirect channels. You will communicate loan guidelines to borrowers and coordinate document flow for underwriting, ensuring timely funding while meeting production goals.

The role supports the Consumer Lending team and requires strong non-face-to-face communication, basic banking product knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to communicate non-face-to-face with customers and team members.
• Experience in loan processing, banking, or call center environments preferred.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Must obtain CT Producer License (Credit Insurance) within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Originate, process, and fund consumer loan applications (auto, personal, credit card).
• Explain loan program guidelines, rates, terms, and flow to borrowers by phone or email.
• Coordinate receipt of loan documents for underwriting submission.
• Fund loans and disburse as needed and maintain production goals.
