Job summary

Sikorsky Credit Union is seeking a Loan Transaction Coordinator to originate, process, and fund consumer loans via digital and indirect channels. You will work within the Consumer Lending team to provide professional service to borrowers from application through funding.

This role emphasizes adherence to policies, strong non-face-to-face communication, and collaboration with internal teams. CT licensure may be required within 90 days; opportunities for growth in a leading Connecticut credit

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
• Minimum of one year in a production environment (loan processing, branch or call center) preferred.
• Knowledge of banking products and services preferred; CT Producer License may be required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Originates, processes, and funds consumer loan applications in accordance with department policies.
• Communicates loan program guidelines, rates, terms, and process flow to borrowers via phone and email.
• Coordinates receipt of loan documentation for underwriting submission.
• Funds and disburses consumer loans in pipelines.
• Achieves production goals and service levels; cross-sell other products where appropriate.
