Job summary

Sikorsky Credit Union is hiring a Loan Advisor to originate consumer loans and home equity products. You will engage with members via phone and online channels, review loan options, and guide customers to the best fit while maintaining compliance with policies and regulations.

You will meet production targets, deliver timely processing, and support members with proactive communication throughout the loan lifecycle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience originating or processing consumer loans or residential mortgage loans.
• Familiarity with loan products and loan processing workflows.
• Must be able to complete NMLS registration and renew annually.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Strong communication skills with task prioritization and goal orientation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of mortgage/consumer lending LOS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proactively originate new consumer loan and home equity applications through outreach campaigns.
• Meet and exceed individual and team production goals and contribute to revenue and member satisfaction.
• Deliver an exceptional member experience through timely and accurate loan processing.
• Follow up with borrowers on approved loans, providing regular updates.
• Analyze credit reports to identify opportunities and present suitable solutions.
• Communicate loan approvals and denials professionally and supportively.
• Promote ancillary insurance products to complement loan offerings.
