Job summary

Oliver Wyman, a Marsh business, seeks a Talent Manager to staff ~60 consultants, balance business needs with individual career goals, and coordinate with Partners to form project teams.

This is a hybrid role requiring three days in the office per week; no fully remote option. You will drive performance reviews, development planning, and staffing analytics to support the firm's consulting model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years in a fast-paced client services or consulting environment.
• Experience in Management Consulting and/or Human Resources preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Use the performance management process as a basis for engaging own consultants on development needs and areas for training
• Develop relationships with each consultant and be seen as a trusted advisor
• Assist in directing consultants towards career resources and training
• Escalate employee relations questions and support HC operations
• Monitor work-life-quality issues and address them as needed
• Collaborate with HC Manager on staffing, training, onboarding and performance initiatives
• Understand staffing needs and liaise with project leaders to fill roles
• Anticipate capacity issues and manage expectations
• Track mobility, holidays, trainings and background checks
