Job Description

The salary range for this role is $88,000 - $121,000/year + Bonus

As a Consultant (Consumer Insights) within the Numerator Strategic Accounts Team, you’ll be a vital member of Numerator focusing on 1-3 large Enterprise clients with contracts including specific weekly consulting hours.

Your responsibilities include serving as the daily point of contact, engagement lead, and project manager for your assigned clients. Your goal is to act as a trusted adviser, identify additional opportunities, and support quarterly business reviews.

How You'll Spend Your Time
  1. Interface with C-suite, consumer insights, shopper insights, category management, brand management, and field teams to support their key business questions.
  2. Leverage Numerator’s consumer panel and survey data to deliver insights and data-driven stories aimed at increasing sales and marketing effectiveness.
  3. Collaborate with client services and customer success teams to maximize engagement, utilization of resources, and build success stories that drive business results.
  4. Work with clients and the product team to develop, prototype, and pilot new solutions, providing customer feedback to support business growth.
  5. Deeply understand Numerator solutions and differentiate them from legacy and competing offerings.
  6. Support sales efforts by participating in sales cycles and presentations as a subject matter expert.
  7. Create relevant thought leadership content, including webinars, training materials, blog posts, and industry presentations.
  8. Travel as needed to support responsibilities.
Skills & Requirements
  1. Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  2. Ability to analyze data proactively and craft compelling stories, managing projects end-to-end.
  3. Excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills, with attention to tracking project scope and hours.
  4. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word; familiarity with MicroStrategy, Python, and SQL is a plus.
  5. Knowledge of competitive products like Dunnhumby, Nielsen, IRI, and others.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with clients at all levels.
  7. Knowledge of CPG and retail industries, consumer and category insights, and household panel data.
  8. Bachelor’s Degree (required), Master’s Degree (preferred), with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  9. Experience in consulting, product, sales support, or service delivery in relevant software industries.
  10. Familiarity with enterprise software for retail and consumer goods industries.
  11. Power user of Microsoft Excel and BI software like Microstrategy, Tableau, etc.
