About the Role
As a Consultant II - IBS Teller , you will support the successful implementation of teller technology solutions for financial institution clients. You will partner with clients to understand operational requirements, guide implementation activities, and help drive successful project outcomes from discovery through stabilization. Working across project, product, technical, and support teams, you will provide practical consulting expertise, manage implementation deliverables, and help clients navigate change with confidence. Success in this role is measured by project readiness, client satisfaction, implementation quality, and effective issue resolution.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead assigned IBS Teller implementation activities, ensuring delivery milestones are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Partner with client stakeholders to assess branch operations, teller workflows, business requirements, and solution readiness.
- Facilitate client meetings, implementation workshops, status reviews, and working sessions with clear communication.
- Support configuration validation, testing coordination, training readiness, conversion preparation, and go-live planning.
- Document decisions, risks, dependencies, defects, action items, and implementation outcomes.
- Collaborate with project managers, product teams, technical resources, and support teams to advance project objectives.
- Analyze implementation challenges, recommend solutions, and elevate risks or blockers when appropriate.
- Provide guidance on IBS Teller functionality, implementation best practices, and operational impacts.
- Contribute to implementation methodologies, knowledge resources, documentation standards, and process improvements.
- Support post-implementation stabilization and assist clients in transitioning to ongoing support processes.
Required Qualifications
- Experience supporting software implementations, professional services engagements, client consulting, project delivery, or financial technology solutions.
- Ability to gather business requirements, analyze operational processes, and translate client needs into implementation guidance.
- Strong client relationship management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead meetings, facilitate discussions, and manage follow-up activities.
- Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Analytical problem-solving skills with attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes.
- Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams, including project, technical, product, and support organizations.
- Working knowledge of implementation lifecycle activities, including discovery, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and stabilization.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IBS Teller or similar teller, branch banking, core banking, or financial institution technology platforms.
- Experience working with banks, credit unions, or financial services organizations.
- Knowledge of teller operations, branch workflows, cash handling processes, customer service operations, or banking regulations.
- Experience supporting user acceptance testing, defect management, conversion activities, or go-live readiness initiatives.
- Experience developing implementation documentation, standard operating procedures, training materials, or process improvement resources.
