Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation is seeking a Construction Workface Effectiveness Operations Lead (COL) to act as a trusted advisor on Bechtel projects in Clay, NY. You will establish productive leadership, collaborate with project management, clients, and subcontractors, and help sustain high-quality leadership performance on site.

The role partners with CWE organizational teams and requires versatile communication to engage all levels of personnel.

Qualifications

Requires bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years of relevant experience.
Understanding of general Construction practices and Project Life Cycle.
2–4 years direct experience in workforce development or equivalent learning and development field.
Must demonstrate classroom facilitation skills and knowledge of Discovery Learning.
Must be willing to travel approximately 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

Lead CWEO program deployment, including processes, programs, tools, reporting and resource planning.
Establish strategic partnerships with site management and supervision.
Analyze productivity data and present clear results to management and sponsors.
Apply Six Sigma techniques for root cause analysis of constraints at the workface.
Develop leadership development solutions and mentor staff.
