Job Opportunity: Construction Crew Member at Morton Buildings

Morton Buildings is expanding our construction crews and employee ownership! We are a leader in post-frame construction with 120 years of experience and over 10 manufacturing, fabrication, and shipping plants supporting more than 100 construction centers nationwide.

Salary: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on experience.

Bonus: Earn an additional $2000 in your first year, with a $500 bonus every quarter during your first year. Bonuses are subject to taxes.

Responsibilities:

1. Follow safety and construction procedures, methods, and standards.
2. Read and interpret construction plans.
3. Use tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
4. Perform tasks like digging, framing, installing windows and doors, and applying siding and roofing materials.
5. Work collaboratively in a safe and respectful environment.

Qualifications:

1. Experience in building, carpentry, or framing preferred.
2. Willingness to complete training programs.
3. Valid driver's license preferred.
4. Availability for 9-10 hour shifts during peak seasons.
5. Ability to follow instructions and produce quality work.
6. Compliance with safety protocols.
7. Ability to operate construction tools and safety equipment.
8. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
9. Comfort working at heights up to 40 feet.
10. Good communication skills.
11. Willingness to travel up to 25%, including overnight stays.
