Morton Buildings is looking to expand our construction crews and employee owners!

Morton Buildings, Inc. is the industry leader in post-frame construction. We have been in business for over 120 years and operate more than 10 manufacturing, fabrication, and shipping plants servicing over 100 construction centers nationwide. Each year, thousands of buildings across America feature the Morton M.

Bonus! Earn an additional $2000 in your first year. New crew members receive a $500 bonus every quarter during their first year. Bonuses are subject to all applicable taxes.

Salary ranges from $21.00 to $23.00 per hour based on experience. Paid weekly.

Under the guidance of your crew foreman, you will:

• Learn, stay current with, and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures, methods, and standards.
• Read and interpret construction plans and build accordingly.
• Use various tools and equipment safely and efficiently to construct buildings.
• Perform tasks such as digging footings, framing walls and roofs, installing windows and doors, applying siding and roofing materials, and finishing with trims.
• Work with team members in a safe, organized, and respectful environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience in building construction (post-frame), carpentry, or framing preferred.
• Willingness to participate in training programs.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Available to work 9-10 hours during peak season.
• Ability to follow directions and produce quality work efficiently.
• Comply with safety procedures and operate tools and safety equipment properly.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Able to work in physically demanding environments and at heights up to 40 feet.
• This position involves approximately 20% travel, including potential overnight trips of up to two weeks.
