Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks an Electrical Coordinator to manage the full lifecycle of Construction Work Packages (CWPs) and Installation Work Packages (IWPs) for basic projects. You will develop, implement, and track progress, while coordinating with discipline superintendents and project controls on quantities, schedules, and field readiness.

You’ll verify material quantities, assist in RFIs, and maintain documentation flow, contributing to safe, efficient project execution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; 4 year degree preferred.
• Typically 4+ years construction or construction management and/or design experience in similar facility construction.
• Knowledge of cost control, scheduling, engineering drawings and other documents; ability to do material takeoffs and field estimates.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, issue, and track all CWPs and IWPs for basic projects.
• Coordinate with discipline superintendents to ensure IWPs have buy-in before field release.
• Verify engineered quantities and coordinate craft/vendor activity and project controls.
• Maintain daily site log and monitor look-ahead schedules for progress.
• Assist with RFIs and ensure proper documentation flow.
• Interface with discipline field engineers to provide constructible responses.
• Support safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead or assist in project coordination and documentation management.
