Job summary

MGC Contractors, Inc. is seeking a CDL Water Truck Driver to join our Texas Division in the Alamogordo, NM area. The role focuses on safely operating a water truck to support construction activities, including dust control, soil compaction, and site maintenance.

A valid CDL Class A or B with Tanker Endorsement is required, along with a clean MVR if possible. The candidate will perform pre-trip inspections, monitor truck operation, and assist field crews as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL Class A or B with Tanker Endorsement.
• Clean MVR (Past 3 years) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a water truck safely on construction sites and public roadways.
• Perform dust control and water distribution as directed.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Monitor water levels and ensure proper truck operation.
• Report equipment issues and maintenance needs promptly.
• Assist Foremen and field crews with general labor and site tasks when water truck ops aren’t required.
• Support project operations to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Any and all other duties assigned.
