Job summary

MGC Contractors, Inc. is seeking a CDL Water Truck Driver for our Texas Division serving the Alamogordo, NM area.

You will operate a water truck on construction sites, perform dust control, monitor water distribution, and support field crews with general labor while following safety rules and DOT regulations. The ideal candidate holds a valid CDL Class A or B with Tanker Endorsement, a clean driving record, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather, sometimes overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL Class A or B with Tanker Endorsement.
• Clean MVR (Past 3 years) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a water truck safely on construction sites and public roadways.
• Perform dust control and water distribution as directed.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Monitor water levels and ensure proper truck operation.
• Report equipment issues and maintenance needs promptly.
• Assist Foremen and field crews with general labor, site preparation, and construction-related tasks when water truck operations are not required.
• Support project operations as needed to help ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Any and all other duties assigned.
