Job summary

Barnard Construction is seeking a Water Truck Driver to support construction projects in Deming and Santa Teresa, NM. The role requires operating a water truck, applying water for compaction and dust control, and maintaining vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.

Ideal candidates have a valid CDL A with Hazmat/Tanker endorsement and at least two years of fueling/oiling heavy equipment, with a proven safe driving record for demanding field work across wide hours and rugged sites.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL A with Hazmat/Tanker endorsement.
• At least 2 years of experience fueling and oiling heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck to transport water for construction projects and to apply water for compaction and/or dust control on the site.
• Perform daily safety checks of fluid levels and inspections for leaks or damage.
• Maintain vehicle in safe operating order and notify supervisor if repairs are needed.
• Perform incidental work items and duties within other crafts as required.
• Adhere to safety and occupational hazard guidelines and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
