Job summary

Barnard Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL Water Truck Driver to transport water for construction projects and support dust control efforts across NM sites. The role requires a valid CDL, clean driving record, and prior heavy-truck experience. Expect long hours and adherence to DOT safety standards on demanding civil works.

Qualifications

• CDL required with clean driving record.
• Experience with water/dump/heavy trucks preferred.
• Construction experience preferred.
• At least 2 years fueling/oiling heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck to transport water and apply water for compaction or dust control.
• Perform daily safety checks of fluid levels and inspect for leaks.
• Maintain vehicle to keep it in safe working order.
• Notify supervisor if repairs are needed.
• Work long hours, up to 50–70 hours per week during peak periods.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety guidelines.
