Job summary

WM is seeking an Account Manager - Construction Sales to manage waste and recycling services for existing construction accounts, and to grow revenue by meeting monthly goals. You will educate customers on recycling processes and WM's online tools, while developing proposals and nurturing relationships.

Responsibilities include prospecting, closing, maintaining prospect data, and using WM tools for pricing and proposals. On-site role with incentive pay eligibility and regional site variations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of degree.
• High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of relevant work experience.
• 1 year of relevant B2B sales experience with phone-based prospecting leading to appointments.
• Preferred: involvement with USGBC, AIA, AGC, BOMA, or NAHB.

Responsibilities

• Managing business to business sales relationships.
• Developing detailed proposals encompassing multiple services.
• Researching aspects of the waste and environmental services business.
• Attending conferences/symposiums for networking and industry updates.
• Assignment management and building trusting relationships.
• Prospecting and closing to achieve budgeted sales goals.
