Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Truck Operator / Driver (no CDL) to operate Water, Dump, Haul, and Tractor Trailer/Lowboy trucks on project sites, following Mortenson safety policies and procedures.

You will observe safety rules, perform routine maintenance, maintain clean work areas, read load charts and manuals, and support a productive, team-oriented job site. Mortenson offers comprehensive benefits and a strong equal opportunity culture.

Qualifications

• Related construction experience preferred.
• Current driver’s license with endorsements as required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, and load charts.
• Detail oriented and able to work independently.
• Strong teamwork and professional customer service skills.
• Ability to move levers, shift gears, depress pedals, and maneuver steering wheel.

Responsibilities

• Operate Water Truck, Dump Truck, Haul Truck, Tractor Trailer/Lowboy.
• Follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Maintain housekeeping in assigned area.
• Perform routine maintenance: lubricating, fueling, cleaning.
• Observe equipment operation to detect malfunctions.
• Follow work plans and pre-task cards.
• Build relationships with team members and stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
