Job summary

Verdantas is seeking a Construction Assistant to support the setup and ongoing maintenance of construction sites in Concord, CA. You will assist with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials, operate and maintain tools, and ensure work aligns with plans and safety requirements.

No extensive experience is required; comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided. This role offers a collaborative, safety-focused environment and opportunities to grow within the environmental and civil

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and maintenance of construction sites
• Perform basic construction tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
• Operate and maintain construction tools and equipment
• Follow safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe work environment
• Conduct site inspections to verify work is performed according to plans and specifications
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including work performed and materials used
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Assist in resolving any on-site issues or conflicts that may arise
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on construction progress
