Job summary

Exscape Group is seeking a Construction Technician to support landscape, maintenance, and outdoor construction projects. You will work with a collaborative team to build patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other features, using hand and power tools as needed.

You’ll operate landscape equipment, ensure site safety, and learn construction techniques while contributing to project success throughout the year, including winter snow operations as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape, maintenance, and construction projects, including building patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor features.
• Operate hand and power tools to prepare sites, dig trenches, and move materials as needed.
• Safely operate landscape equipment and machinery to complete project tasks efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site by securing tools and materials at the end of each day.
• Work collaboratively with experienced team members to learn new skills and construction techniques.
• Participate in snow operations during winter months to help keep properties safe.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work outdoors in all seasons, and perform the physical demands of construction work.
• Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one before starting.
• Experience with construction, landscaping, or operating equipment is a plus, but not required- motivated individuals will be trained.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and completing projects to a high standard.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
