Job summary

RDO Equipment Co. in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking a field-based professional to strengthen customer relationships and drive aftermarket sales in wholegoods, parts and service.

You will address customer concerns, provide technical support, perform installations and service visits, and identify new business opportunities for GPS and machine control products. Travel 35-50%. This role offers base salary with commissions, benefits, and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in an industry-related role (sales, service, or training).
• Experience with GPS or machine control technology preferred.
• Strong communication and exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, train and demonstrate proficiency on technology product groupings.
• Identify new business opportunities for service and repair of GPS, Laser and Machine Control products.
• Perform onsite service, installations and product support across the area of responsibility.
• Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment as assigned by the Aftermarket Manager.
• Document machine information and repairs on work orders, including parts and fluids used.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and follow up with customers.
