Job summary

MicroCAD Training & Consulting seeks a Construction-focused Technical Specialist to deliver Autodesk FORMA-related technical services across diverse projects. You will combine deep expertise in estimation, preconstruction, or VDC/BIM with the ability to learn and support multiple disciplines.

You will produce high-quality deliverables, assist with product demonstrations, and communicate project outcomes to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience with FORMA Takeoff, Cost Management, ProEst and Autodesk FORMA core components.
• 7+ years using project or field management platforms (Procore, Trimble, CMiC, Newforma, Vault, Egnyte, or similar).
• 7+ years as Estimator, Preconstruction Manager, or similar role in construction/engineering/ownership or consulting environments.
• Strong presentation, demonstration, and communication skills for online and in-person solutions.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer engagements and industry events.

Responsibilities

• Help customers maximize Autodesk FORMA value through consulting, implementation, training, mentoring, and ongoing support.
• Evaluate customer processes, recommend best practices, and establish collaborative workflows for project delivery.
• Build strong client relationships by providing timely technical support and delivering solutions that improve performance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Technical Support teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
