Job summary

Qualifications

• Professional experience in business analysis, business systems, process improvement, operations analysis, or implementation consulting.
• Ability to conduct interviews, document workflows, investigate problems, and translate business needs into clear requirements and recommendations.
• Experience working with business users and technical colleagues to implement or improve a process, application, or report.
• Ability to organize and analyze data using spreadsheets or comparable tools, identify data-quality issues, and explain findings.
• Ability to organize competing assignments, follow through on commitments, and communicate clearly with employees, vendors, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Conduct department assessments through interviews, workflow observation, and review of available records. Document responsibilities and recurring problems.
• Maintain an inventory of business applications, spreadsheets, reporting tools, and vendor services with purpose and ownership.
• Identify key data sources, definitions, owners, access needs, and quality issues; establish baseline measures.
• Prepare and validate department findings, including process maps and ranked opportunities; estimate costs and benefits.
• Help leadership develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap and evaluate changes across systems and tools.
