Position Title: Construction Surveillance Technician I

Location: Bossier City, LA

Security Clearance Level: Interim Secret clearance to start, with the ability and willingness to obtain up to TS/SCI with Counterintelligence polygraph.

Duties and Responsibilities

The AF SAP Security Support Services (SSS) assists the AF security authority in overseeing security operations, processes, and management for SAP interests, including analytical and program protection support, adapting to dynamic security situations.

The Construction Surveillance Technician's primary role is to ensure daily security support during SCIF & SAPF construction. Responsibilities include:

• Assessing and recommending improvements to policies, procedures, or systems.
• Identifying threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.
• Managing escort personnel, maintaining logs, and briefing security duties.
• Enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Providing administrative support as directed.
• Inspecting delivery materials for secure spaces.
• Photographing and monitoring construction, documenting all steps for accreditation.

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of related experience or 5-6 years of experience without a degree.
• Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience.
• Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience.
• Experience with ICD 705 compliance and SCIF security is desirable.
• Completion of safety training (OSHA 10, Fall Protection, Confined Space) within 30 days of hire.
• Must complete CDSE STEPP ICD 705 Physical Security Construction Requirements for SAP course within 30 days.
