Job summary

Pancoast & Clifford, Inc. is seeking an experienced on-site Superintendent to lead and coordinate every aspect of construction projects in West Chester, PA.

You will oversee quality, safety, schedule, and coordination with subcontractors, ensuring timely, within-budget delivery and strong client relations. The role requires 7-10+ years in commercial construction, OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR, and proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, and Procore.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of industry experience as a commercial GC/CM Superintendent.
• OSHA 10 certified (OSHA 30 )
• First Aid/CPR certified.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Project; Procore knowledge a plus.
• Strong ability to read drawings and specifications and resolve conflicts in advance.
• Functions effectively as part of a team and delegates work appropriately.
• Exhibits leadership qualities and decision-making skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be a Leader - Make a Difference - Take Ownership of on-site management and coordination.
• Document Review of contract documents and project scope.
• Develop CPM schedule and monitor weekly progress with PM and subs.
• Hold weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors and review 3-week Look-Ahead Schedule.
• Ensure quality and safety per contract requirements; arrange testing/inspection services.
• Prepare Daily Field Reports, Safety Meeting Minutes, deficiency lists, and as-builts.
• Maintain client relations with owner through trust and communication.
• Assist Project Manager with submittals, scheduling, inspections, and manpower planning.
