Job summary

Forge Construction is the on-site leader for delivering projects in the Louisville/Southern Indiana region, from mobilization to turnover. The Superintendent directs trade partners, drives the schedule, and ensures safety, quality, and cost control.

The role partners with the Project Manager, Vector Design Group, and DF Property Management to hand over buildings ready to lease and operate. 5+ years of field experience required, with Procore proficiency and a valid license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of on-site construction experience, including ≥2 years as a Superintendent or lead A/Super.
• Experience on wood-frame or podium multifamily, senior living, or comparable projects.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Working knowledge of building codes, inspection processes, and construction methods.
• Procore (or similar CM software), MS Office, and mobile field tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport for travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day field schedule; build and run 3-week look-aheads tied to the master schedule.
• Plan site logistics, sequencing, laydown, deliveries, and crane/equipment use.
• Run weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and daily huddles; resolve field conflicts.
• Identify schedule risk early and bring recovery plans to PM and Senior Superintendent.
• Direct and coordinate all trade partners on site; enforce scope and workmanship standards.
• Lead Forge’s safety program on site: inspections, toolbox talks, safety plans.
