Job summary

Forge Construction is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale multifamily and senior living projects. You will manage day-to-day site execution, safety, and quality, mentoring field staff from mobilization through turnover.

The role requires a proven track record delivering ground-up projects, strong coordination across trades, and strict adherence to safety standards. Travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of field construction experience, with at least 5 years in a Superintendent role on multifamily or senior living projects.
• Proven ability to deliver ground-up projects from $10M–$75M+ on time and within budget.
• OSHA 30‑hour certification required; valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Direct all on-site construction activities from mobilization through final punch list and owner turnover, safely and to high quality standards.
• Develop, maintain, and drive a three-week look-ahead schedule with the project manager; resolve constraints before affecting critical path.
• Coordinate site logistics, sequencing, and subcontractor scopes to maintain productive workflows and minimize disruption.
• Interpret and enforce drawings, specs, and codes; coordinate resolutions with the PM team.
• Oversee site setup, temporary utilities, access, signage, and housekeeping to keep a safe, professional site.
