Job summary

Forge Construction seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale ground-up multifamily and senior living projects. This hands-on leader drives day-to-day site execution, ensuring safety, quality, and coordination of trades from mobilization through turnover.

The role requires 10+ years in field construction, 5+ years as a Superintendent, and proficiency with Procore. The incumbent will mentor field staff, maintain schedules, ensure compliance, and deliver projects on time

Qualifications

10+ years of field construction experience
5+ years in a Superintendent role on multifamily or senior living projects
Experience delivering ground-up projects from $10M–$75M+ on time and within budget
Proficiency with construction management software for logs, inspections, and documentation
Ability to lead, supervise, and develop field teams including Superintendents

Responsibilities

Direct on-site construction activities from mobilization through final punch, ensuring safety and high quality
Develop and drive three-week look-ahead schedules in coordination with the project manager
Manage site logistics, subcontractor coordination, and workflow efficiency
Enforce drawings, specs, codes, and coordinate resolutions with the project team
Maintain daily field reports, photos, and support RFI/submittal processes
