We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial projects, including science/technology and healthcare construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process from planning to completion, ensuring that projects are completed within the stipulated time and budget. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history, demonstrating longevity and commitment, and must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
2. Work closely with project managers and other team members to plan, coordinate, and supervise all construction activities.
3. Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the project specifications, plans, and safety regulations.
4. Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
5. Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure that the project stays on schedule and within budget.
6. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that the quality of work meets or exceeds expectations.
7. Use project management software, such as Procore and Microsoft Project, to track progress and manage resources effectively.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 5 years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor.
2. Strong experience in commercial Tenant Improvements (TI) projects.
3. Experience supporting science/technology and/or healthcare construction projects.
4. Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Project/Office.
5. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
6. Stable work history with demonstrated longevity.
7. Ability to pass a background check.
8. Candidates coming from commercial GC environments focused on Tenant Improvements, Life Sciences, Healthcare, and Advanced Technology projects are preferred.
9. Preference will be given to candidates who enjoy working in a collaborative, culture-focused organization rather than a large corporate builder.
