We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and a proven track record in overseeing all phases of large-scale construction projects, from initial planning and foundation work to final inspections and project closeout. You will be responsible for ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety regulations and building codes. This role requires a strong leader who can effectively manage subcontractors, ensure materials are properly managed, and adeptly handle procurement processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned construction professional to take on a leadership role within our organization.

Responsibilities

1. 1. Oversee all aspects of construction project management, including planning, coordination, and execution.
2. 2. Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
3. 3. Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors, ensuring all work is performed according to project specifications and timelines.
4. 4. Oversee materials management, including procurement, delivery, storage, and usage, to ensure optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
5. 5. Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and practices, conducting regular site inspections and safety meetings to maintain a safe and secure worksite.
6. 6. Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
7. 7. Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships.

Qualifications

1. 1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
2. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction management role, with a demonstrated track record of successfully overseeing large-scale construction projects.
3. 3. In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
4. 4. Extensive experience in managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
5. 5. Strong knowledge of safety management practices and regulations in the construction industry.
6. 6. Familiarity with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
7. 7. Proven ability to manage procurement processes and materials management effectively.
8. 8. Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
9. 9. Proficiency in construction management software and other relevant computer applications.
10. 10. Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
