Construction Superintendent at DH Griffin Construction

Description

D.H. Griffin Construction Co., LLC is a full-service general contractor, design‑builder and construction manager. We bring a collaborative approach to projects, working closely with the owner and design teams in a variety of project delivery methods including negotiated price, design‑build, CM Agent, CM at risk and conventional design‑bid‑build. Our Greensboro office is currently seeking a qualified Construction Superintendent with a solid understanding of how to coordinate and manage the dynamic relationships and components required for all phases of a construction project.

Job Qualifications And Responsibilities

• Minimum of 8 years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction, preferably with ground‑up full‑service restaurant and/or ground‑up industrial/warehouse experience.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, problem‑solving, negotiation and planning skills are required.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.), project software, including Procore preferred.
• Ability to implement new ideas. Be an active member and leader within our company, actively participating in committees, making recommendations for new initiatives, and embracing new policies related to Safety and Quality.
• This job requires 25–30 % of commuting, up to 90 minutes; 40–50 % overnight travel.
