Job summary

Granger Construction is seeking a hands-on on-site leader to drive day-to-day operations on a Metro-Detroit project. You will oversee subcontractors, manage cost and scope, maintain the schedule, and ensure a zero-defect mindset while coordinating MEP aspects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the jobsite to ensure safety, efficiency, and highest standards
• Manage project cost and scope, track changes, and communicate adjustments to the PM
• Keep the schedule on track by coordinating daily activities and notifying subs in advance
• Ensure high-quality work by monitoring progress and addressing deficiencies
• Oversee mechanical and electrical (MEP) systems with subcontractors
• Execute a smooth close-out with strong turnover and commissioning plans

• Lead the Jobsite:Oversee subcontractors, coordinate daily activities, and proactively ensure project needs are met.
• Manage Project Cost & Scope:Verify subcontractor work, track changes, and communicate scope adjustments to the project manager.
• Keep the Schedule on Track:Plan and coordinate work efficiently, notify subcontractors in advance, and keep teams aligned.

• Oversee MEP Systems:Partner with subcontractors to ensure proper installation, scheduling, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Execute a Smooth Close-Out:Work with the project manager to ensure seamless project turnover with a strong close-out and commissioning plan.
