Job summary

Granger Construction is seeking an on-site leader to guide a Mid-Michigan project from start to finish. You’ll own daily operations, align subcontractors, and uphold safety and quality standards on a high-profile site.

You will drive cost, schedule, and quality management, while collaborating with project managers, trade partners, and owners to anticipate challenges and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the schedule, notifying subcontractors in advance and keeping teams aligned.
• Uphold high-quality work and address deficiencies early to avoid punch lists.
• Oversee MEP systems coordination with subcontractors for proper installation and commissioning.
• Support a smooth close-out with a strong turnover plan.

• Manage Project Cost & Scope:Verify subcontractor work, track changes, and communicate scope adjustments to the project manager.

• Oversee MEP Systems:Partner with subcontractors to ensure proper installation, scheduling, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Execute a Smooth Close-Out:Work with the project manager to ensure seamless project turnover with a strong close-out and commissioning plan.
