Job summary

Granger Construction seeks a Project Manager to lead complex projects in Detroit and surrounding areas, driving communication among owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams. You will oversee RFIs, submittals, schedules, and cost tracking to deliver projects on time and on budget.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, proactive problem-solving, and a balance of strategic thinking with meticulous detail.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between owners, architects, subcontractors, and teams, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Manage key project processes, including RFIs, submittals, schedules, and cost tracking.
  • Develop and oversee project schedules, coordinate MEP and BIM processes, and work closely with internal teams like accounting, design, and estimating.
  • Write subcontracts and purchase orders, monitor budgets, and problem-solve to keep projects on track.
  • Deliver projects to closeout with a zero-punch list goal and comprehensive handoff.
  • Represent Granger's values of trust, integrity, and teamwork in all interactions.
