Boyd Jones Construction is seeking a Construction Superintendent in Colorado Springs, CO. This role leads safety, quality, and on-site execution, guiding field teams, coordinating with trade partners, and aligning field work with plans and contracts.

A focus on disciplined planning, strong teamwork, and professional communication is essential. You will oversee safety planning, schedule development, and technical problem-solving on active sites, ensuring projects meet schedule and budget targets

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction field experience, including leadership as a Foreman, General Foreman, or Superintendent.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, safety practices, and subcontractor coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, schedules, and technical documents.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using construction technology such as Procore, digital plans, tablets, and scheduling tools.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Ability to work safely on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety performance on the jobsite and integrate safety planning into daily operations.
• Deliver quality work the first time by executing the Quality Management Plan and aligning with drawings and contracts.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate work, develop look-ahead schedules, and facilitate coordination meetings with trade partners.
• Drive technical execution in the field and resolve complex field issues with sound judgment.
• Lead field teams and represent Boyd Jones on projects, maintaining professional relationships with owners, inspectors, and partners.
• Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and execution, with structured planning and disciplined coordination.

What You'll Be Accountable For

Leading Safety Performance on the Jobsite

• You will own jobsite safety by integrating safety planning into daily operations and holding teams accountable for safe execution.

• Lead safety planning and daily safety discussions

• Ensure hazards, near misses, and incidents are documented and addressed

• Hold crews and trade partners accountable for safe work practices

Delivering Quality Work the First Time

• You will lead quality execution across all phases of the project to prevent defects and minimize rework.

• Execute the Quality Management Plan

• Ensure work aligns with drawings and contract documents

• Identifyand correct quality issues early

Planning, Scheduling & Coordination

• You will lead disciplined planning to ensure reliable workflow and schedule performance.

• Develop andmaintainlook-ahead schedules

• Facilitate coordination meetings with trade partners

• Identifyschedule risks and implement recovery strategies

Driving Technical Execution in the Field

• You will apply technical knowledge and constructabilityexpertiseto guide field operations.

• Resolve complex field issues with sound judgment

• Plan sequencing,logistics, and site access

• Support productive, well-coordinated jobsite operations

Leading Teams & Building Strong Partnerships

• You will lead field teams and representBoyd Jonesto clients, inspectors, and trade partners.

• Communicate expectations clearly with crews and subcontractors

• Work closely with Project Managers to manage schedule and risk

• Maintain professional relationships with owners, inspectors, and partners
