Job summary

Jobot in West Virginia is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our growing team. This hands-on role requires ownership over projects from mobilization through completion, overseeing day-to-day field operations, coordinating subcontractors and vendors, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

With 5+ years of superintendent experience and a strong background in commercial construction, you will manage plans, schedules, and field teams to deliver projects on time

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction superintendent experience preferred.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, schedules, and specifications.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to identify and solve problems in the field.
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety and OSHA standards.
• Proficiency with construction technology and project management software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, but equivalent field experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations and site activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Maintain project schedules and communicate progress to the project team.
• Conduct daily jobsite inspections and ensure quality standards.
• Enforce site safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Review plans, specifications, drawings, and project documents.
• Coordinate inspections and resolve field issues as they arise.
• Track materials, manpower, equipment, and deliveries.
• Lead weekly/daily subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Work closely with Project Managers and ownership to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Identify potential construction issues before they impact schedule or cost.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and according to specifications.
