Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to supervise subcontractors and craft teams across a given discipline. The role focuses on coordinating on-site operations, safety, scheduling, and quality control to keep projects on track.

You will review labor reports, manage timecards, assist with hiring, and support Project Managers in schedule development. Travel up to 100% is required; base pay ranges are noted, with standard Mortenson benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in construction-related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years construction management or related experience.
• Current driver's license.
• Willingness to travel up to 100%.
• Electrical circuit knowledge or ability to be qualified.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and address issues within weekly labor reports.
• Coordinate on-site operations, equipment and crews.
• Review and approve craft worker certifications and trainings.
• Support project managers with schedule development and updates.
• Ensure quality control of self-perform and subcontractors' work.
• Lead safety and orientation activities.
