Job summary

William R Nash Group seeks a Safety Coordinator to lead site safety inspections, equipment checks, and incident investigations, ensuring OSHA, ANSI, NFPA and GC compliance across projects.

The role partners with the Safety Administrator and Senior Safety Coordinator to enforce policies, train personnel, and document findings. Requires OSHA 30 & OSHA 500, Spanish language capability, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a safety role within construction, plumbing, or mechanical contracting.
• OSHA 30 & OSHA 500 certification required.
• Must be able to understand, communicate, and follow safety instructions in English.
• The position requires moderate travel, including overnight and international travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform site safety inspections to ensure OSHA, ANSI, NFPA compliance and GC safety requirements.
• Inspect and document equipment, PFAS, PPE, ladders and tools; enforce corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training, maintain records, and ensure certification compliance.
• Respond to incidents with facts, root cause analysis, and assist investigations.
• Coordinate crane operations safety and documentation audits.
• Maintain safety documentation and reports; travel for inspections and training as needed.
