Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction is seeking a Safety professional to support site operations in Miami, FL. You will assist in controlling hazards, conduct safety inspections, and help enforce company safety programs on construction sites.

The role requires at least two years of safety experience, knowledge of OSHA rules, and proficiency with MS Office. Strong communication and training skills are valued and opportunities for career advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Two years of work experience or related education in Safety.
• Knowledge of OSHA 1910/1926 and NFPA/ANSI safety standards.
• Understanding of state Workers' Compensation reporting requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assists in controlling hazardous conditions and unsafe activities through interface with project management personnel.
• Conducts regular safety inspections of construction areas to ensure compliance with company rules and regulations.
• Completes inspection reports documenting deficiencies and follows up on corrective action.
• Conducts safety training for staff and craft personnel per company and customer safety programs.
• Investigates accidents, incidents, and near misses and completes required documentation.
• Performs special projects and other duties to support the organization.
