Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety professional to lead project safety on a single construction site in Miami, FL. You will enforce EH&S programs, train staff, and manage regulatory compliance across Federal, State, and local requirements.

You will develop site-specific safety plans, conduct audits, and collaborate with project leadership to improve safety metrics and protect workers on the job site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health and minimum of 4 years of related construction safety experience.
• CHST certification required or within 2 years of appointment.
• OSHA 30-hour training completed with current First Aid/CPR/BBP/AED certifications.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local EH&S regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead EH&S on a single construction project per HQ policy.
• Develop and enforce site safety standards and training programs.
• educate project teams on environmental and hazardous materials reporting.
• Drive incident reduction and regulatory compliance to zero citations.
• Collaborate with leadership to create safety reports and action plans.
