Job summary

CSG/Ceco Concrete Construction is seeking a Safety Specialist to support on-site safety programs at projects in Ann Arbor, MI. You will monitor hazardous conditions, perform safety inspections, and drive corrective actions across teams.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of EH&S experience, OSHA knowledge, and strong MS Office skills to promote a safe work culture and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Two years of work experience and/or related education in Safety with on-site EH&S responsibilities.
General knowledge in Loss Control and Claims Management from hands-on experience.
Familiar with OSHA Part 1910 and 1926 safety rules and related standards.
Basic understanding of state Workers Compensation laws and reporting requirements.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

Assist in controlling hazardous working conditions through project management interaction.
Conduct regular safety inspections of construction areas for compliance.
Complete inspection reports promptly and track corrective actions.
Conduct staff and craft safety training to promote awareness.
Investigate accidents and near misses and document findings.
Support special projects and other duties as needed.
