Job summary

Valley Interior Systems is seeking a Site Safety Coordinator to implement and enforce safety on active commercial construction sites. You will serve as a daily resource for internal and customer teams, supporting a strong on-site safety culture with safe practices that minimize risk.

The role requires communication with field teams, coordination of training, and collaboration with leadership to improve safety outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related field experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Ability to read technical manuals, reports, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for safety-related questions and problem-solving.
• Coordinate and track employee training requirements and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Partner with Safety Manager and Director to communicate needs and opportunities on the job site.
• Participate in pre-task planning, safety meetings, toolbox talks, and new worker orientations.
• Investigate incidents and drug testing requirements to ensure compliance with programs.
• Assist with incident response, fact-gathering, and follow-up actions.
• Perform safety audits and inspections and reporting.
