Job summary

Subzero Engineering seeks a Site Services Installation Safety Coordinator to implement and enforce the safety program across job sites, ensuring OSHA compliance and coordination with the EHS Manager, Site Supervisor, and GC safety team.

The role focuses on hazard identification, corrective actions, and safety training, while maintaining records and supporting incident investigations on active construction sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Two to five years of construction safety experience, preferably in a subcontractor environment.
• OSHA 30 Hour Construction certification required; OSHA 510 or 511 preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; valid driver’s license.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and construction tracking/reporting software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections of work areas, equipment, and operations.
• Identify, correct, and document hazards related to fall protection, elevated work, material handling, rigging, scissor lifts, aerial work platforms, forklifts, and telehandlers.
• Enforce compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926, company safety policies, and GC Site Specific Safety Plans.
• Assist with Job Hazard Analyses and Activity Hazard Analyses; support emergency response as directed.
• Participate in incident investigations and ensure timely reporting; maintain training records and inspection reports.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance; perform other duties as assigned.
