Job summary

SiteWORX in Lebanon, Ohio seeks a Safety Coordinator to join our safety team. You will assist with safety inspections, training and compliance support to promote a safe work environment on our site development projects.

Responsibilities include helping with inspections, planning and delivering safety training, coordinating OSHA/MSHA activities, maintaining PPE inventory, and supporting policy development. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in safety roles with civil construction background.

Qualifications

• Passion for the construction industry and strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and non-verbal.
• Ability to manage a large workload and meet deadlines.
• Organized with proper filing and material management.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing needs.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with regular job-site safety inspections.
• Assist with planning and executing safety training programs.
• Perform new hire safety training and OSHA/MSHA trainings as needed.
• Assist with utility locates before excavation.
• Maintain PPE inventory and training reports.
• Develop and promote safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate safety issues with management and field personnel.
